Stampin Up UK Champagne Box 2

Well, for the very first challenge over on the Around the World Stampin’ Up! Challenges blog, we could only choose Celebrate as our first theme couldn’t we?

Pootles Stampin Up UK Champagne Box 3

For us, it is so momentous; the inaugural launch of what we hope will become a fabulous challenge twice a month, and we all so look forward to welcoming entries from everyone. Not just other demonstrators, but everyone who has a love of stamping, crafting and papercraft.

But in my case, I’m very much a ‘box’ girl. I think the challenge for my own personal journey will be coming up with sketches each month for cards, but I stayed true to myself this month, and how else could you celebrate? Well, with a bottle of Champagne of course!

I do have a video that goes with this, and will show you all my dimensions, and how I made the box, so I hope you’ll enjoy sitting back and spending a few minutes watching it. Perhaps with a glass of Champagne? Or maybe a coffee if it’s early morning…! (click here!)

I’ve used a mixture of Christmas and Birthday papers to decorate, because those are also great occasions to pop open a bottle of champagne or to hand one over as a gift.

As I always ask a question every day, so my question to you is…. When was the last time you had a cause for celebration?

  1. Hello, just a heads up in the video for the last long score line you said 11.5 but on the blog it’s 11.75.

    • P.s I absolutely loovvee this box. I made it for a few family members, for the Holidays. It’s perfect for Sparkling cider. thank you!!

  2. Hi Sam. Thanks so much for sharing. Even though this Tute is from 2013, I found it today and just in time for my mom’s Christmas gift. I bought her a fig covered goat cheese log and some other goodies and the cheese log fit inside the box perfectly. You are so sweet to share your talents with the rest of us who just can’t quite seem to figure out how to make a box on our own. 🙂 Merry Christmas. Beverly Benson in Nampa, Idaho
