Stampin’ Up! UK Papillon Pot Pourri meets En Francais Unusually!
Sometimes I find it hard to work with more than 2 colours, and other times, I seem to be able to pick out a trio and have them meld together.
Quite a few weeks ago now, I shared a (not very good mobile phone) picture of this card on my Facebook Page and so many people commented on the striking colour combination.
It’s been sat on my desk waiting for a pocket of time when I wasn’t focused on Advent Countdown projects, Online Classes, Convention, and everything else that just seems to need to take priority!
But there is a window of time now, and I wanted to share the project in better photography terms, but also share the ‘make’ of it too.
The card base is Basic Black, with a mat of Whisper White, followed by a layer of Basic Grey.
I then took a further layer of Whisper White cardstock and stamped using Rich Razzleberry Ink and the En Francais background stamp and covered it.
I repeated the layers again, but this time took the Papillon Pot Pourri stamp set and randomly stamped Rich Razzleberry and Basic Black butterflies all over it.
Of course, you know me, I need to have a punch in hand at all times, so I used the Elegant Butterfly Punch to punch a Rich Razzleberry butterfly, and the matching Bitty Butterfly Punch to punch out a smaller one in Basic Black.
I absolutely adore this colour combination. Not my usual colours together at all, but it seems that it was quite popular back on my facebook page, so I hope you like it too!
