POOTLES Stampin Up UK SPRINGWATCH Folded Vellum Chocolate Truffle Box Tutorial 4

I was asked recently if I could make a box to hold chocolate truffles. The size I was given was ‘walnut’ but as I haven’t eaten nuts in far too many years to accurately remember, I decided that as far as chocolate truffles are concerned, a bigger box is always going to be better!

And it was while thinking of this and pondering the luxurious feel of our new gold and silver vellum, that a design began to form in my mind. Initially I was heading towards a smaller box, for a single truffle. Maybe a wedding favour? But instead, I wanted to use the larger Banner Framelits from the Spring Catalogue, and decided that yes, a bigger chocolate box was definitely better!

So I hope you like the luxurious statement of this box, with it’s decadent chocolate coloured cardstock, the expensive feel to the vellum and the richness of the golden heart accents. And of course, I had to use a stamp and matching punch, and what better ones to choose than the ones you get for FREE!
