Soft and Smoky Bitty Elegant Butterflies
I have been a papercrafter for almost 11 years now, and until last year, I’d never picked up a rubber stamp and ink pad. Mostly it was because I know I’m a real collector of things, and back when I first started crafting, rubber stamps were pretty much only available on wooden blocks, and for me, storage was a bit of an issue.
But it didn’t stop me crafting. I have always been a non-sentiment type card maker, preferring my designs to be useful for any and all occasions, so I do thoroughly enjoy going back to my ‘roots’ of the non stamping type of card making!
And this kind of card today is very much one that I’d have made pre-stampin’ up days, and while I adore stamping now, I do like to just grab some cardstock and a couple of punches and go for it!
Then a triple layer of Whisper White Baker’s Twine, a scattering of pearls, and done!
I really love how this card has come out. I do feel it could be good for pretty much any kind of occasion, and hope that you will take inspiration from my non stamped card!
I hope you enjoyed this project, please do use the hostess code to support Pootles! (hostess code shown in the top right of my blog for the current one!)
