Regal Regarding Dahlias and Butterflies
Simple stamping and a smattering of punching, and you know that I’m going to be happy. And this card, with it’s pretty butterflies certainly makes me happy!
I do think that black and white is very elegant, but equally, I feel that a splash of colour will always add that bit of extra interest.
I will however agree that the placement of the candy dots has ended up with them looking a little like a traffic light (thanks for pointing that out Mr Loucks…!). That wasn’t the intention, but I’ll admit it, yes, they do look like traffic lights…
But swiftly moving on! It’s a simple stamping of the Regarding Dahlias whopper bloom in Black Stazon onto Whisper White cardstock that I layered on another piece and lifted up on a Basic Black card blank. I stamped the ‘Hi’ from the same set, punched it with the 1″ square punch, but decided (prior to traffic light gate…) that it would look good offset onto the Curly Label Punch. I still think it looks good, but maybe a swaparound of those blimmin candy dots…!
Finally, a trio of Bitty Butterflies in Cherry Cobbler, Crushed Curry and Garden Green, all from the regals collection and done!
What do you think? Traffic lights aside…!
