Stampin' Up! UK Demonstrator Pootles - Sweetie Round Bags for Camping Tutorial Blender Pen Detail

One of the best memories I have of childhood holidays with my parents and 2 older brothers was that magical time after our evening meal.  We’d all have mucked in to clear up and clear away, and just as we sat down to watch some TV or play a game, Mum would pull out a special tin.  In it were penny sweets and chews and little special sweeties.  We’d take it in turns to have a sweet each, and it was just simply known as ‘The Sweetie Round’.

Even now, Mum and Dad will take some sweets away with them on holiday, and it’s still known as Sweetie Round, although it does happen a little more frequently than only after tea.

And with it now being the first day of the school summer holidays, and that means camping trips for my husband and the 3 older boys, I had to do a little project just for them.

These bags aren’t made by me, sometimes you do need to just grab’n’go with a project and that’s fine.  Not every craft project needs to be made by hand entirely by scratch!

So I do hope you like it, I talk more in the Video about why we ended up using these particular supplies, and how Jack came to decide the ‘rope’ would be included!
