Pootles Autumnal Card using Stampin' Up! Four Feathers Close Up

Yay! I got out the Four Feathers Stamp and Framelit Bundle at last! It’s only taken me a month since I was given the set at Convention….!

But I’m delighted with the result.

It has come about having seen a very textured knitted striped cushion on pinterest in these colours and I just knew I wanted to work with the colours, but it was the texture of the cable knit that really called to me.

I loved how it looked and decided to make a card that was all about the texture, hence the tone on tone stamping of my feathers (all regals – Cherry Cobbler, Cajun Craze, Crushed Curry, Garden Green, Night of Navy)

I then brought in the repeated textured elements of Linen Thread loops at the back to one side with a triple layer over the button and then a piece of Burlap that I edge shredded to get that all textured too.

Of course, any card of mine that’s all about making it look like it feels fabulous has to have a little spot of Gorgeous Grunge, so I stamped it tone on tone in Crumb Cake onto my card.

What do you think of my Four Feathers?  Texture from a cushion idea…!
