Stampin' Up! UK Independent Demonstrator Pootles - A White Christmas with Stampin' Up! UK snowman

I do love to make simple cards, but it’s quite rare that I make a one layer card, but the stamp set White Christmas really does lend itself well to this. Particularly when coupled with our Notecards and Envelopes. They’re pre cut and scored and are a sturdier base than our regular Whisper White.

Because the stamp set is photopolymer though, it makes for super easy alignment of the stamping!

The snowman version was simply stamped with Early Espresso Ink and then dotted with 2 way glue and Dazzling Diamonds glitter.  I love how simple it was, and in fact, it took longer for the glue to dry than it did to make the card! I did stamp the snowman himself in Black Stazon, but I think a grey may have worked a little better. Slightly softer…?

My other version is using the cute car and because of the see through nature of the stamps, I was able to perfectly place the tree on the top.

I did do a little more to this one, using my blendabilities.  The car uses the Night of Navy and I was trying to get a little hint of coming out of dark woods into bright lights from this. I think I got there…. I used the Old Olive on the tree with a scatter of Dazzling Diamonds then the Smoky Slate on the windows and tyres.

Then a little dash of Daffodil Delight for the headlight and some Crumb Cake on the trees and it was done.

Simple, cute, and a really beautiful set of stamps. Oh and a total bargain at only £13.95 *jaw drops*
