Stampin’ Up! UK Demonstrator Pootles – Simple Christmas Card using Stampin’ Up! Festival of Trees
Don’t forget, the one week special offer to join Stampin’ Up! UK is on now, ends TODAY. Details HERE!
I love an elegant card, and I love a simple card. With Christmas rapidly approaching, I kinda have to work to both of those criteria when making cards in large quantities.
And how gorgeous does it look?
I made full use of the Notecards and Envelopes we have – they’re precut and scored and are a good sturdy white base. Plus of course, they’re in quantities of 20 so you could make 20 in one colour, then 20 in another, then change again… Simple!
My 2 layers are set as follows – Cherry Cobbler 4 x 2 1/2″ (10 x 6.5cm) and Whisper White 2 3/8 x 3 7/8″ (9.7 x 6.2cm)
I love that the Festival of Trees stamp is photopolymer, therefore totally see through, which means I could stamp at speed! I have only used the stamp, but it does have a matching punch and is available as a bundle too if you want to create a card that way. In fact, it would be rather fab popped up on dimensionals…
Oh and of course, having matching Cherry Cobbler Baker’s Twine made a big difference to the appearance of this (we have 10 colours, the possibilities are endless!) and then a scatter of Basics Pearls. I put 3 at the bottom and then a handful on the tree itself.
I am rather in love with this card, and have stockpiled on the Notecards to make dozens more!
