Well for a simple card, this was longer to make than I usually go for….

Well can you see the background… No, not the stamping, the one below it. See how the top is Bermuda Bay and the bottom is Elegant Eggplant…. Well, it’s simple to do. Until you adhere it the wrong way around having stamped the top layer first… Yes, I can be that dim!

However, aside from that, it’s super simple!

I love the spots from the Dotty Angles photopolymer set. I stamped twice with each ink to get the gradient colours and as you can see, went across the corners.

It’s a great background stamp, but I think rather fabulous as a dominant feature.

My sentiment and hearts come from the Pictogram Punches set. Again, I stamped out, but this time 3 times to get the paler colours.

To make the dual colour in the centre though, I simply stamped once in each colour and chopped straight through the middle of each one before punching with the Itty Bitty Accents Heart, then carefully popped the 2 parts up on a dimensional!

I am really happy with how this has turned out and it’s headed to my husband right here and now. I hope he likes it too….
