Stampin' Up Independent Demonstrator Pootles - Team Welcome Cards using Flashback DSP 1

I adore my team. I’m endlessly humbled when someone chooses to join me and I always like to send them a little welcome pack.

It always contains a hand covered notebook, sometimes contains chocolates or sweeties, or a little treat I have! And of course, it contains a welcome card.

I tend to make these in small numbers of 10 or so each month as I like to make sure each month’s new team members know that they’re part of a select group!

As you know from posts a few weeks back, I’ve been going back to my roots of cardmaking with DSP as the dominant feature, so when I came to make this batch of cards, I had to use Flashback as it really has felt like a total flashback in time for me to work with paper in this way.

And I am loving it!

I did make a few more than normal though as an incredible 28 ladies have joined my team in the last 7 weeks and already they’re setting up their blogs, shops, videos and starting their workshops!

And we are now an international team with 3 ladies in France, 1 in Germany and 1 over in Holland as well as the UK team too!

Ah happy days!

So my card has no ‘rules’ to the dimensions of the panels, except that the DSP is 1/2cm (1/4″) smaller than the Basic Black panel that surrounds it.

These are all slightly different and I made a few of each. They’re a bit like those spot the difference games! And yes, I had to check and double check that I wasn’t taking photos of duplicates….

Oh and the Welcome. Well I spotted it in the Sale a Bration Catalogue on page 10 and couldn’t for the life of me find it anywhere!

Big shout out to my team because when I went to our Facebook Group and asked, a whole pile of them stepped forth and pointed me to the Celebrate Baby stamp set in the annual catalogue. And much like Perpetual Calendar, if I never use the ‘baby’ images, that’s okay. I’ve already had a lot of use of the words!
