Stampin' up! Demonstrator Pootles - Park Lane So You Card for Chaps Stamped Detail

Cards for chaps. They’re not the easiest to create are they. Well, not if the guys in your life aren’t into fishing, watersports, vintage cards, or other such things.

My husband is what you’d call a ‘modern man’, and so is my Dad, as are my brothers…. While they do all like various different things – tinkering with motorbikes, trains, pool, gardening, we just don’t seem to have stamps to go with what they’re into. And I think a lot of us struggle with the chap cards, so I have one here that I think some may like.

I have Soft Suede cardstock as my base with a panel of the luxurious Park Lane DSP as a square on it, with matching candy dots off to one side. They’re so subtle as a tone on tone, that you almost miss them!

Because Park Lane has the rich colours in it, I decided to take Blackberry Bliss ink for my stamping and added in the Love from the So You stamp set. It’s not ‘fluffy’ and ‘girly’ and I shall most definitely pass this card onto my husband. Or even one of my sons.

I think they’d like it. It was made with Love after all….
