It's Stampin' Up! Alliteration In Overdrive! Petite Petals Close Up

I love the names that Stampin’ Up! gives to our colours. I know that some don’t like the aliteration, but I rather like it!

That’s not to say that I dislike our international translation (Germany and France have some brilliant renames!), but I love the quirkiness of ours.

And the ‘C’ alliteration exercise is one that I’ve done before, and I thought I’d have a little fun and do it again, but stepped up….

My base is Crumb Cake with Gorgeous Grunge speckles stamped in Crumb Cake and Chocolate Chip.  I didn’t pop up the layers at all, but kept them all flat to each one.

Then my Petite Petals stamp and punch outs are all stamped off twice so that I got 3 different colours for each one that I’ve layered to sort of blend into the next.

My colours?

Well aside from having the alliterative stamp sets of Petite Petals and Gorgeous Grunge, I used colours in (left to right!) Crushed Curry, Crisp Cantaloupe, Calypso Coral, Cajun Craze, Cherry Cobbler, Chocolate Chip and Crumb Cake.

What do you think?

Alliteration overload? Well, I don’t mind! I think it’s rather fun!
