Pretty Box for 3x3 Cards using Painted Blooms & Petals

Ooooo so I think we all love mini 3×3 cards, and they’re ideal for gifting to other people. So today’s project is a special type of box, specifically to hold these darling sized cards and their matching envelopes.

I have used the same paper pattern on both, but with a switch around of the colour cardstock from Soft Sky to Rose Red, the 2 look remarkably different!

  1. It’s a wonderful box. I had made one like this as a post-it holder. I’d prefer to put also one of these wonderful mini magnets you have. It will be easier for the recipient of this box to open/close it. But this is my opinion. Thank for sharing it with us ! Have a great and creative week ! mwah

  2. Hi Sam, great box design, especially as I have just got into making 3×3 cards again (it’s been a long time – I went BIG!) but sometimes a little card can say it all!?! Anyway, love the colours you chose, they are very pretty. I think with some nice little cards inside these will make lovely little gifts. Thank you for the idea Sam, and another great video. Karen x

  3. Love this little project (like all of yours as a fellow box addict!). I was just wondering where you get your 3×3 cards and envelopes from please? Any favourite places? Thanks! Helen x

  4. Love the sweet box Sam!

  5. Fabulous as always Sam 🙂

  6. Had to chuckle when you were making the bow, I have a real problem making bows regardless of what I’m trying to use to make them.

  7. Teresa N says:

Sam, this might help with bows. I saw this on another video. Make your first knot and secure it in place with a glue dot. I’ve tried this and it does help keep everything still while you make the bow.
