Perpetual Birthday Calendar Hand Stamped Box Tutorial

Well what do you think to today’s box? All hand stamped by me and looking rather pretty I think!

I broke out the Perpetual Birthday Calendar stamp set to create the look and I’m thrilled with how it has all come out.

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, if I never use the months in the stamp set, it doesn’t matter!

There are a couple of layers to the box, a little like a card really with it’s mats and layers, but I love it and how simple yet pretty it is!

Imagine it with the ‘splat’ image for boys….

Anyway, here’s the video for you, I hope you like it!

  5. I love this set, the images are all so pretty and, you are right Sam, even if you don’t use the words for the months, the rest is just so worth it.
Love your box, the size is fabulous, you can fit a lot of goodies in there.
You did a fabulous job with the bow, looks great.
    Thank you for sharing.

Here’s another pretty example of how lucky we are that the papers and inks match so well. The effect is so nice! Now if I could only remember how to wrap the ribbon around the box so as to avoid the lump on the bottom so that the box will sit flat on the table. Does anybody remember? Thanks!

  7. fabulous box! I like the idea of stamping the background better than pattern paper.

gorgeous as always Sam thank you for sharing. As always you make it look stunning and your instructions are always so clear to follow, instead of stamping all the little pieces separately could you stamp a whole sheet of a4 then cut them or do you need to do them individually?

  10. Teresa N says:

Just in time for my daughter’s birthday. She is getting a box full of aromatherapy products. This box will be perfect for bottles of essential oils. Big hug of thanks from Tucson.

  11. This box is absolutely perfect! I love its size! Love it! Thank you! Stampin Up used to have a stamp called Sprinkles. They are background stamps, much like the Perpetual Birthday stamps you use. I have it and it works superbly! Thanks again!
