Simply Stamped, You are my Sunshine

Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator Pootles – Simply Stamped, You are my Sunshine

Stampin' Up! Demonstrator Pootles - Simply Stamped, You are my Sunshine close up

When I used the Over the Rainbow stamp set last week, I forced myself to step away from the rainbows and see the stamp set for its potential in other ways. Okay, this is definitely simple stamping, but this is one of those cards that I’d give to one of my sons or to my husband.

You are my sunshine.

That’s all it needs to say!

I loved Oliver’s help a few weeks back when he punched out dozens of glimmer paper Washi Label shapes, so I decided to recreate it on this card with a twist of metallic thread and a So Saffron button to reflect the sun and the cardstock.

Simple and definitely recreatable with other images or words.
