Stampin’ Up! UK Demonstrator Pootles – Adorable A7 Size Hopeful Thoughts Card

Stampin' Up! UK Demonstrator Pootles - Adorable A7 Size Hopeful Thoughts Card Punch Detail

I love to make mini cards. I make them as often as I can and just drop them in the post box with a little note inside. I send them to friends, to family, to anyone who seems like they need a pick me up.

They’re the kind of cards that we need to have on hand but never seem to do….

So I have a quickie for you today.

This A7 size is a sheet of cardstock cut into 4 pieces. It doesn’t matter whether you start with A4 or 8.5 x 11″ cardstock, but make sure it’s 4 equal sizes!

Because I work with A7 sized paper, my Whisper White layer is just 1/2cm narrower and shorter, so if you’re an Imperial crafter, make yours 1/8th of an inch narrower and shorter…

The stamping is easy. I’ve done this technique before using my Stampin’ Write Markers onto this very image from Hopeful Thoughts. I coloured the leaves in Pear Pizzazz and the trunk in Chocolate Chip.

The markers make this so easy!

Finally, my gorgeous Calypso Coral flowers are punched using the Tree Builder Punch. Yes, there is a super cute flower in there!

Love it!

What do you think?
