Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator Pootles – Beautiful Butterfly Window Box Tutorial
I adore what I do, and I adore sharing projects and ideas and new things. However, I equally love to revisit old projects and recreate them in different ways.
Today’s project is doing exactly that.
2 years ago, not long after I joined, a soap maker friend of mine, Suzanne from Scent Trail, asked me if I would make a box for her in a specific size. I wanted to leave a little hole in the box so that her customers could still smell the soap but without having to open it before they parted with their cash.
Well Suzanne went on to join my Stampin Up! and more than 2 years on, is still creating the most beautiful papercraft projects.
And it was while thinking of which project to revisit that I decided upon this one.
Now my original was designed to fold flat, because as a Soaper, Suzanne, and other soapers, do have storage issues to overcome – their soaps take up a lot of space! But my recent one has fixed sides.
And while I’ve punched out the hole in this one, I’ve sealed it with a window, but it’s up to you!
