Pootles Advent Countdown #22 Christmas Box for 4 Tealights

Well it seemed that the jumbo tea light tutorial from a few weeks ago proved popular, but a lot of you sent me emails asking if I could design a box to hold regular sized ones. And a good chunk of you asked for it to hold 4 tealights.

Well I do follow up on requests as much as I can, so I came up with a simple but (I think!) stylish project for you using black cardstock and gorgeous Winter Wonderland DSP.

There are some papers that need nothing more, and I think these are some of those! Just a little flash of Stitched Satin Ribbon and done!

The box has been designed to hold 4 Ikea tea lights and you can get 2 from a sheet of cardstock, but if you fancy putting something else inside, the finished size is 1.5 x 1.5 x 2.25″ (4 x 4 x 5.5cm)

I hope you enjoy the video!

  1. I love it when you feature black card stock in your projects because you always manage to make it look festive.
I love using black card stock, but I struggle to keep it from looking too bleak sometimes.

Perfect! Just the inspiration I needed for colours – boxed body shop shower cream for my Wednesday ladies xxxxxxx

  3. Is there anyway you can put the directions and a photo together so we can print out and save when you do a project. As of yet I’ve not figured out how to do from this page. I love you ideas. Sometimes I pass them by in folder due to they don’t say what you are doing. Like I almost passed this one thinking it was a advent calendar you were making things for not gifts. Now I’ll have to check out you other Advent things. Keep up the awesome work and love you accent by the way. I’m form deep south USA.

  4. I like the other paper you used. Did you stamp it with the Wonerland Wood Set?
