Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator Pootles – Gorgeous Grunge Guy Card with Watercolour Words

Stampin' Up! Demonstrator Pootles - Gorgeous Grunge Guy Card with Watercolour Words close up

I have so many men in my life it’s crazy! Far more than one woman deserves! I have 4 sons, 1 husband, 1 dad, 2 brothers and 4 nephews…. that’s 12 men!!! So we have a lot of birthdays and I am a real last minute lady when it comes to their birthday cards. So this year I’m getting ahead of the game…

They don’t really go into fluffy and heavily decorated, so I called upon Gorgeous Grunge to help me out with Watercolour Words backing me up.

The base cardstock is Soft Suede and when you separate it away from it’s warmer neutral counterparts, it’s a really really great colour!

I used it for the wording too, and it makes those words stand out really well. And a little scatter of the speckled bits.

My diagonal stripes are Mint Macaron and the horizontal ones? Melon Mambo!

Who says men can’t handle a little pink…? Not me!

It is a simple one layer card, but you could girlify it up with maybe some heat embossing or pearls scattered….

Love it! I hope you do too!

    Hi and Thanks Sam,
I have majority of males also. I feels great to see demonstrators who focus on man projects. Love, love, love….My youngest twins boy and girl. I make sure whenever I make something for her and make something for him also. Both are very creative. When I make projects for others, they want it also. Smiles…My older grandsons 20 and 18 and my son are happy I am into crafting, since death of my mom 2years ago. Keeps me focus and I thoroughly enjoy..
