Pootles Advent Countdown 2015 #25 Pinched Flattened Cone Tutorial

It’s the last one! Seriously! I can’t believe we have completed 25 projects for this year’s Pootles Advent Countdown. It feels like only 2 weeks that I’ve been doing them, not 12+ weeks!

Doesn’t time fly??

So if you’d like a reminder of all the projects, there is a menu button HERE that you can use to reference them all, but of course, we need to finish it off!

Today’s project is another Use It Up project for Emergency Gifting. While I’ve used a piece of 6×6 paper to make mine, any square will do.

And please, unlike me, don’t let that paper try and take you on. Show it who’s boss! I clearly wasn’t in ‘boss mood’ when I was filming…. *facepalm*

But it’s worth it, they look great as a little pile of goodie packs.

While I remember, here’s a link to magnets for you. Donna sends worldwide as well as in the UK.

So have fun making and maybe you’ll send me some photos of yours too!

  3. Dear Sam,
I enjoyed every video so much and I am really a little bit sad that the Christmas projects are over. I copied quite a lot of your ideas and just want to say thank you for all your hard work, your wonderful way of keeping in touch with your customers (I love your letters, goodies and free stamp sets so much!!!) and I am looking forward to another year with Pootles
    Love from Scotland,

  4. What a tricky cone ! Quick, easy and cute project ! Thanks for sharing it with us all x

  5. Me again.. I just made a cone, at the end it looked lovely… but oh my god, I had the same problems as you in the video to form the cone. And when I finally had the shape I wanted, I had to unroll it again to remove the liner from the glue… and then it started all over again. LOL. I haven’t had magnets and used tiny velcro dots from Rymans. Works absolutely fine.
    Thanks again

  6. Merry Christmas Sam! Thanks for all you do for us crafters. You are the best!

I, too, have enjoyed EVERY SINGLE project. They have become a highlight to my morning, when the husband is working and the kiddo is at school and I have the house to myself to indulge in these fun gift giving projects. I am using several ideas and am pleased that all my gifts are coming from my heart, this year!
Thank you for your expertise and for all the videos.
    Merry Christmas!
