Birthday Blossoms Crumb Cake Card

Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator Pootles – Birthday Blossoms Crumb Cake Card

Stampin' Up! Demonstrator Pootles - Birthday Blossoms Crumb Cake Card Close Up

Okay, so this is just too cute! I have 2 stamp sets here today – Birthday Blossoms and Petite Pairs.

The Birthday Blossoms set is so pretty and soft, and using Crumb Cake just made total sense to me! Don’t ask me why, I could have gone for another soft subtle colour, but for some reason, that colour was the one that ‘spoke’ to me…

But I didn’t want to make it a birthday card, despite the stamp set’s sentiments, so I pulled out Petite Pairs and used one of the stamps from there, in Chocolate Chip and punched with the Square Punch.

Finally, popping it behind a Pansy Punch flower with a chocolate chip Button and some Linen Thread, and I was done! Or was I….? Can you see the center of each tiny flower. Look closely…. yes, that’s a tiny dab of Crystal Effects in each one!!

What do you think?  What colour would you do?

  1. Another lovely card again. Think I would try White or Ivory card but use pinks/purple inks which I am a sucker for.
