Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator Pootles – Blue Blue Garden in Bloom

Stampin' Up! Demonstrator Pootles - Blue Blue Garden in Bloom Close Up

Oooo now as you know, I am a bit of a fan of making DSP cards with varying layers, but today, I fancied having a go at making that style of card, but with my own pattern!

I love the Garden in Bloom stamp set – the flowers, the bees, the butterflies, the words. Everything!

I don’t believe there are any rules as far as this style of card goes. Just chop your cardstock and layer it up. If you like it, stick with it. If you don’t, cut a little more!

My only rule is that the layers are 1/2cm (1/4″) different so that there is consistency with the layering. But otherwise, have long bits, fat bits, short bits. Anything!

And my colours today are Soft Sky and Marina Mist with those cute buttons to match!

I love an easy card that’s fun to make, and I definitely had fun!

  1. Love your card! Merry Christmas to you and your family!

  2. Beautiful card. I really like that you make your own designer paper. We are stampers and it is fun to make our own paper. I liked Stampin Up Christmas designer paper used on cards this year but to much fussy cutting and no fun stamping and coloring. Again a beautiful card and Merry Christmas

    Greetings Sam,
    Hope all is well.
Absolutely gorgeous, creative card. I like making items that’s are out of the box. Adding the buttons simply wonderful, which gave me more creative ideas. All colors from the blue family is my favorite adding earth colors…
    Thank you
