Pootles – 1000 Days as a Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator….
Merry Christmas everyone!
Today is not just Christmas Eve, but by coincidence, it’s 1000 days since I joined Stampin’ Up! That’s a bit over 2 and a half years!
I joined on March 29th 2013 and I can’t believe that it’s 1000 days!
You all know what I’m like for seeking goals, benchmarks, dates and what have you, so when I realised this particular date was coming up, I had a look to see what day it was, and couldn’t believe it would be Christmas Eve!
So what has happened in the last 1000 days? Well I’ve published more than 1100 blog posts here (yes, there are some days when you get 2 if there’s news to be shared!) I’ve also filmed and published over 600 video tutorial (wow, that shocked even me!). Over 220 people have joined my direct team in that time, and many of whom have gone on to build their own teams too! I’ve loved every minute of my journey so far, and I can’t wait for the next 1000 days!
So today, on this very festive day, I’m showing you the projects that I shared on my 100th, 200th, 300th (and so on!) days….
Day 100 – July 7th 2013 – I didn’t have a project that day, I was still finding my feet and balance of tutorials, but this was 2 days before. I’d discovered I had an issue with my SD card for my camera and had a rare few minutes to film when toddler Oliver wasn’t around, so I did speed crafting because I could film a maximum of 5 minutes!
Day 200 October 15 2013 – I was part of the Around the World challenge blog design team then, and this was our 3rd project. Our theme was Autumn, so I went for Autumnal colours!
Day 300 January 23 2014 – I made baby cards! A whole host of them, and I’d wanted to use the new In Colours and they made a great set!
Day 400 May 3 2014 – Pretty butterflies in soft soft colours. Oh how I miss those tiny flowers though! They were so easy to use!
Day 500 August 11 2014 – Do you remember our Dazzle Markers in Silver and Gold? I love them and still have a couple here that I use for writing inside black cards. Unfortunately they’re now retired, but they made for great gifts in this tutorial!
Day 600 November 19 2014 – Gift Card Holders anyone? I’d had a request to share some, so I did!! And we still have that die. Thank goodness for that at this time of year!
Day 700 February 27 2015 – I have to confess, I still adore Perpetual Birthday Calendar Stamp Set, and I’m so pleased that it made it’s way from the Spring Catalogue into the Annual One. I must pull it out again!!
Day 800 June 7th 2015 – Oooo a Sunday and this is one of my South Hill Designs and Stampin’ Up! Sunday mash ups, and it happened to be a joining offer. Hmmm, there’s one coming very soon for Stampin’ Up! and there’s currently one on for South Hills! Don’t you just love it when the deal is made even sweeter for opening your own business?
Day 900 September 15 2015 – Ah, Gorgeous Grunge. I can’t believe it hasn’t featured more in this line up. I do so love it!
Day 1000 Today! And so that is a line up of some highlights of the past 1000 days. It feels like that number is enormous, but in reality, it’s not that long a time. 3 years come the Spring. How time flies though!
Have a wonderful Christmas and holiday, and I shall see you on Boxing Day for the first of my 12 Deals of Christmas series…!
