Way Back Wednesday – Thank You Notebooks!

Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator Pootles – Way Back Wednesday – Thank You Notebooks!

Pootles 12 Deals of Christmas

Yay, it’s back! The 12 Deals of Christmas from the last 2 years have been so popular that I couldn’t not bring it back to you again this year….!

Details are down at the bottom…!

Stampin' Up! Demonstrator Pootles - Way Back Wednesday - Thank You Notebooks! 1

Well first up, I want to say thank you so much for embracing my new tutorial schedule. I am excited to be revisiting some of my old projects and I really do hope you enjoy this journey with me. It’s easy for me to forget what I’ve made, when I’ve done well over 600 video tutorials, so I am enjoying this with fond memories!

My project today is a revisit on Notebook Coverings from June 2014, and the principle remains the same.

What’s slightly different about today’s project is that it was my Thank You Gift for all my lovely wonderful shoppers in December!

Over 130 of these went out in the post, and I’m so happy that they’re arriving with everyone today!

Now there are 32 different ‘looks’ in the photos below. I used just 3 cardstock colours alongside the Love Blossoms DSP – Crumb Cake, Rose Red and Blushing Bride. That was quite deliberate because Stampin’ Up! has been rolling out ‘cardstock packs‘ to coordinate with Designer Paper since the Summer and I’ve totally got on board with it!

And because the DSP pack has 12 different patterns in it, those 3 colours being dominant, I wanted to see how many different looks I could get. Obviously I could go for even more, but I stuck with the colours where it made sense. IE the ones with only Rose Red went on Rose Red Cardstock.

And yes, I was surprised just how many combinations there were!

I kept the decoration simple, although those on my Facebook page will know that it was a real production line as there are 4 different stamps used on the punch out in 3 different colours…. Bloomin’ Love made it simple though with the flowers in it that I needed, and with these being suggested as Wish List notebooks, the wording was perfect too!

So I hope you like the project, and perhaps you’ll cover a notebook (or 3!) too!

S xx

12 Deals of Christmas.

So, what’s this all about? Well, I don’t do sales, and I don’t do discounts. In my professional opinion, Stampin’ Up! offers the best quality products at the best prices around (and with over 10 years crafting experiences, trust me, I’ve tried ‘em all!). So you won’t ever see me offering to reduce the prices of products, or sharing my discount. But what I want to do, as a one off, just for Christmas, is offer 12 extra goodies that go into the regular Thank You Gift Pack that I send out to all my customers.

Each ‘deal’ will only be available for the stated day, and will vary in price, product and value.

I get an immediate email notification of all orders that come in, so you don’t need to worry about getting in touch, or emailing to say you want to take advantage of the deal, I’ll send it out automatically.

Please note, if you select NO CONTACT, I cannot, by law, send you anything. Please make sure that you deselect that button….

Today’s Deal is –

All orders over £70 will receive a Project Life Memories In The Making Accessory Pack from me, inside their regular Thank You Gift Pack. It will come direct from me, as this is an offer direct from me. It will not come with the order you place. If you use the hostess code for the month, it will still count for Both!

Fine Print. This is not a catch, there is no single winner, this is not a competition. Please do not add it to your order, (unless of course you want duplicates!) as I will be sending this separately.

All Thank You Gift Packs will be posted after the 12 Deals of Christmas have finished.

I hope you enjoyed this project, please do use the hostess code to get free product! (hostess code shown in the top right of my blog for the current one!) Learn more HERE. If your order is over £150, please do not use this code as You become the hostess and get the Rewards!

What a great idea for gifts. You did a good job explaining measuring. Thanks for showing us this project. Happens I just bought a pack of notepads!

  2. Renee McClintock says:

I enjoyed watching this! I have done notebook covers only horizontally like a book, not vertically like you’ve shown. I can’t wait to try it!!

  3. You always have awesome projects and you explain them so well. I often refer to you as the “box lady” to my friends.
Just wondering, do you have a tutorial on how to make your own notebooks?
Thank you for your creations, you inspire me.

  4. Dear Sam,
I trust you had an amazing Christmas and New Year’s Eve. I wish you and yours a fantastic 2016 full of health, love and success!
    God bless you.
    Cris B.

  5. How beautiful. I can’t wait to get mine… It’s always such a treat to get your surprises in the mail.
    Love from Nessie

  6. Belinda Litsch says:

Sooo lovely! I received mine yesterday Friday the 8th… My 9yr old daughter got it from the mail and said, mommy, the Famous crafter lady in England sent you again a gift!! She is very happy to have the second notepad! (1st one from October)

  7. Alison Haynes says:

Hi Sam, I loved watching this project, very interesting to see the theory behind the measurements! As a new crafter it would be helpful to see the same type of video for some of the beautiful boxes you make, all best wishes xxxx
