Oh I thoroughly enjoyed remaking this bag. From August 2013, this was a bag I’d created to hold a standard sized A6 Card and Envelope.

We used to have roller wheel stamps then, and I used to butcher mine and cut them up, but you’ll be pleased to know that I don’t take a knife to my craft supplies anymore, I leave things as they are!

But I did love the look with the old fashioned images on it and I wanted to keep that same sort of layering effect on this one. So that’s why it’s a little like some of my DSP layered cards. Heck, if it works on a card, then it would work on a bag-for-a-card too surely?

I went with Birthday Bouquet as my DSP, thinking this could be a Birthday Card Bag, but then decided to switch out the stamping and I brought in the gorgeous You’re So Lovely stamp set. Again. Honestly, I do have other stamp sets in my collection, but I’m totally addicted to this one right now!

Anyway, back to the paper. It has Pool Party and Mint Macaron within it, so I decided to go the Pool Party route as I wanted to bring in the glitter ribbon for my handle and bow. Lush isn’t it?

Anyway, do enjoy the step back in time to the Summer of 2013. When I still had a 2 year old running about, all the children on school holidays, and filming was done at night time when the house was quiet. Ish….!

Hi Sam, I remember this as being the very first of your videos and the first time I had seen Stampin Up products, and I fell in love instantly. I viewed a few more and then looked for a demo in my area and long story short, I am now a hobby demo and have been for nearly 12 months. I love it and everything that you do. Keep up the good work. xx. Janet

Thank you for posting this Sam! I’ve been following your Youtube tutorials for a few months now but this design is new to me. I love you re-vamped colourway and have ordered some DSP. Meanwhile I couldnt wait to have a go so have made my own version with supplies I already have and have filled it with cardstock stamped with a selection of uncoloured images to give to a friend who is just starting out colouring with promarkers and watercolour pencils. I think she will love it!
