Timeless Elegance with a Wink of Stella

Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator Pootles – Timeless Elegance with a Wink of Stella

Stampin' Up! Demonstrator Pootles - Timeless Elegance with a Wink of Stella

I think this could possibly be the most simple card I’ve ever made….

I happened to be pondering some 3D projects the other evening and was deciding on the paper I wanted to use. I’d got a few out in front of me, and this beautiful Timeless Elegance was one of them. Also on my desk was my Wink of Stella Clear Brush pen and I wondered and pondered a little more.

How would it look if I glittered up the black parts? Would it work? Was it too easy?

I had a scrap with one of the smaller flowers so I had a go. And yay, it was a great result!

I have done my very best to show you the sparkle, but it’s really one that you have to see in real life. Although if you’ve been on my facebook page recently, you’ll see I put up a mini phone video showing it off.

So other than using Sahara Sand as my card base, a layer of Basic Black as my mat and the Timeless Elegance Paper, I simply took Stampin’ Up’s design and glittered it up….

Easy peasy!

  1. These papers are gorgeous all on their own, but the added sparkle makes them more so!!

  2. Julia Dawn Mason says:

A very lovely card! If my mother was still alive, I would make it and give it to her just to say I love you. But I can’t, she passed away in 2003. This last New Years Eve was 14 years ago.
I just finished knitting a pair of gloves for a former boss I had when I was just starting out my school crossing guard job. I hope she will like them. I used Knit yarn ,in the Stroll line in the color black so she can use them as part of her uniform.

  3. Simple but really nice!
