Pootlers Blog hop – Spring Summer!

Pootlers Blog hop – Spring Summer!

Pootlers Blog Hop

Oh you will all laugh at me…. Take a look at the title. Spring Summer. Now take a look at my project. Sale a Bration.

Yes, I am that dizzy. Actually I’m only half dizzy….. This is a deliberate error. A few weeks ago, my team and I did a blog hop and somehow, I managed to get it into my head that we were doing a Spring Themed project, so I merrily created my card using Spring goodies and it wasn’t until I went round our whole team’s projects that I realised that they’d all done Sale a Bration projects and I was on my lonesome…. So they’ve teased me about this and when Hannah (who coordinates all our hops) said it was another hop this weekend, everyone said I ought to do the opposite.

So I am!!!

Pootlers Blog hop - Spring Summer! Full Collection

My cards are so easy to make. They’re using sheets of the Perfectly Artistic DSP which is on a limited time only. The papers are watercolour on one side, this one, then the opposite side has marbelling effect, and in different colours too!

Isn’t it just stunning??

I used the enormous sentiment from the Botanicals For You stamp set and then heat embossed it with silver embossing powder. Yes, brave I know to stamp directly onto a project, but you’ll be pleased to know that I didn’t make any errors or blobbies!

Finally, a small twist of Metallic Thread and 3 Itty Bitty Accents flowers and the whole set was done.

Took me maybe 20 minutes to do them all!

Love a quick card!

Anyway, I hope you enjoy my project, and that you enjoy our hop too!

Next stop, Mandy!
