Watercolouring Newbie….

Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator Pootles – Watercolouring Newbie….

Stampin' Up! Demonstrator Pootles - Watercolouring Newbie....

I have a confession to make.

I have never done watercolouring in my adult life. I did a lot of splodge-and-mess as a child, but as an adult, nope.

I have all the gear, but until now, I had no idea….

Aqua Painters – got them, no idea how to use them. And then I clocked this video from Tami White and she made it look so easy that I had to have a go.

And it really is as easy as she shows!

I decided to go with colour hues rather than rainbows, so I pulled out Night of Navy, Island Indigo, Lost Lagoon and Pool Party for the blue set and stamped it with the gorgeous sentiment from Another Thank You.

The purples are a trio – I went with Elegant Eggplant, Perfect Plum and Wisteria Wonder, then stamped with One Big Meaning.

I wouldn’t say I’m the greatest at it, but boy did I have fun!

Who knows, maybe there’s a video tutorial in me waiting to come out too?!
