This has been the quickest two weeks ever, but I have simply adored each and every project and video that you have showcased for SpringWatch 2016! I hope you decide to continue this series each year, as I always look forward to seeing it! You’ve literally outdone yourself this year, Sam! Job Well Done! CONGRATULATIONS!

LOVE your projects, and cards. These card, I have to say, are my favorites – thus far. Thanks, for sharing your talents … and inspiration.

***Stampin’ Up! and South Hill Designs

As many of you know, I have been with both companies for the last year and a half. However, South Hill Designs were recently acquired by another company that has interests in other paper products. As a result, I have made the decision to step away from South Hill Designs.

I therefore am pleased to be reassuring you that I WILL be remaining with Stampin’ Up! and nothing will change at all as far as me and here and youtube and everything (!) will stay as normal.

However, I know that many of you did shop with me for jewellery and I still have a large amount of stock here, so please do get in touch if you’d like some discounted lockets and charms 😉

***Me – Elephant in the Room….

I feel now is probably as good a time as any to talk about where my wedding and engagement rings are. So many of you have emailed me and asked where they are. Lots have worked it out and have offered love and support.

To cut straight to the point, I am in the process of divorcing my husband and what goes hand in hand with that, pun not intended, is the removal of wedding rings.

I am absolutely fine, it’s a decision I have made and while may be a surprise to many of you, I’m at a stage where I’m managing fine, the boys are doing as well as expected and hopefully until the point where I took off my rings, no one would have known what was going on.

I do believe that parts of my personal life are very personal, and most definitely not relevant to my crafting business and blog, however because my hands are on video every other day, it’s kinda obvious!

So I hope you don’t mind me sharing that little bit from my homelife, but I also wanted to sort of ‘get it out there’ so to speak.

***With Love!

So the boys are on half term here right now, as I type this, Jacob is currently sticking glimmer paper and cardstock to make me a card. We’re having a noisy holiday, it’s very wet and getting out is proving problematic – no one likes being soggy! But back to normal next week.

Love to you all.

Sam x

I hadn’t really noticed the rings missing as I was paying more attention to the projects (which are always gorgeous!), but I had noticed the name change at the Stampin Up site. However, I do realise that your private life is just that – private – and that sharing any information about that is your choice. I hope that things are working out as well as possible for you!

  44. Denise Murdoch-smith says:

Hi Sam I had noticed your rings were missing and wondered if things in your life had changed. Of course you must keep your private life private and only share what you want to. Enjoy your boys and your new adventure in life. Be strong. 56. Dear Sam,

When I read the weekly updates this first thought was you. I have to be honest, I joined Stampin Up this month, partly because of you and your wonderful blog and youtube video’s. Actually wish you could recruit in Canada too. When I read your blog yesterday, I literally hand pumped the air with a big YES…because you chose to stay with Stampin Up. 🙂 I am sure it was a hard decision for you, as was the decision to share about your divorce.
