Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator Pootles – Awesomely Artistic Large Bordered Card Tutorial
Oooo, it’s not often that I have a card project on a video tutorial, but I enjoyed doing them during SpringWatch, so I thought I’d have another go!
As you know, I taught the other week how I layer up cards by making my mats and layers 0.5cm (1/4″) smaller and narrower, but today I show a different layering technique!
So in this case my first layer, the black, is 1.5cm shorter and narrower. If you work in imperial, try 5/8″ or 3/4″ and see how it looks.
My white layer is then the usual 0.5cm (1/4″) narrower and shorter.
I love the look and effect of this larger border. What do you think??
I hope you enjoyed this project, please do use the hostess code to get free product! (hostess code shown in the top right of my blog for the current one!) Learn more HERE. If your order is over £150, please do not use this code as You become the hostess and get the Rewards!
