Stampin' Up! Demonstrator Pootles - Long Thin Easter Egg Box Tutorial

Squeeeeeaaaaaakkkk!!! Easter is nearly upon us! Well it’s not, it’s still more than 2 weeks away, but if my children are anything to go by, you’d think it was the day after tomorrow!

I don’t usually use my blog as a platform to air my thoughts, views or opinions, and I’m not going to start now! No matter how you celebrate Easter, I’m sure that chocolate eggs are going to factor in there somewhere, and if you’re like me with lots of small children around, then you know just how much it can cost when shopping for chocolate delights for them.

I’m not money mean, but one does wonder at the mark up of chocolate at this time of year…..!

So my treat project today is one that helps you split up a £3 bag of chocolate eggs and share them around and help them go a little further…

And when you factor in that the cardstock is our Whisper White (super bargain price) and that I’ve stamped it with ink and stamps, so no DSP, then it’s even more of a bargain!

Of course, you don’t have to use 5 colours as I did, you could go with a single colour – perhaps a gold – and then have single colour eggs inside?? It’s up to you!

So I hope you enjoy the video and perhaps make some treats for a few extra people this year!

Hi Sam & Jacob, this was such a great little box, that I am going to make these for my grandsons and all 6 of my girlfriends grandchildren. They look very professional and won’t cost an arm and a leg to make. I may even make some for my stamping group that I attend. Thanks again Sam and hope you’re feeling better soon Jacob. Bye from Melbourne ,Australia .

Hi Sam and at the end Jacob cheeky-chops!
Humm …… 1 poorly boy off school + 1 Mum = 2 missing mini Easter Eggs!
Love, love, love this long thin box and that stamp set is one of my newest favourites.
I’m wary of staples (crafting with children and special ed. adults – bloomin’ health and safety issues) so will add a punched hole and ribbon/thread to each end.
Penblwydd Hapus for Sunday Sam – have a lovely lunch & day out with your family! 🙂

Being from the States, I enjoy your accents as much as your art. I will be making this to give to my adult children at their place settings. One of my fav projects ever!!!!
Jacob’s little “hello” at the end made me chuckle! Thanks for a lovely project and vid.
