Stampin' Up! Demonstrator Pootles - Simply Wild About Flowers Close Up Detail

I have to confess, I’m not a natural stamper. I am still totally drawn to paper as my first medium of choice when crafting. I suspect that’s why I make so many bags and boxes…. But I do adore a simple stamped look on a card.

The Photopolymer stamps that we have certainly tick the boxes for me. You really can’t go wrong with a see through stamp can you?

Perfect alignment – check

Additional stamping – check

Sentiment in the right place – check

So today I’m all about simplicity!

Stampin' Up! Demonstrator Pootles - Simply Wild About Flowers

The Number of Years set is such a pretty stamp set, and who knows if these flowers are meant to be this colour – I’m florally challenged – but I like the look!

A simple bow of baker’s twine, some pearl centres and it’s easy to make!

I hope you have a great weekend whatever you’re up to! I’m going to be working this weekend in readiness for the boys breaking up for a 2.5 week school holiday on Thursday…. Head over to my facebook page as I’m sure I’ll be seeking company there!

Simple but very elegant I must give it a go as I seem to stay in my own comfort zone. Thanks for the inspiration.

  3. LOVE your card ! I think I will try to make notecards similar – have to change it up a bit – perhaps use a slate border on the white notecards ! TFS

  4. Christine says:
