12 Cards using Shine On Speciality DSP

Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator Pootles – 12 Cards using Shine On Speciality DSP

Stampin' Up! Demonstrator Pootles - 12 Cards using Shine On Speciality DSP Bermuda Bay

I have a confession to make. I’m not normally a paper hoarder at all. I will quite happily hack into a sheet without a second thought. I love it, use it, share it. But, there was something about the Shine On Speciality paper from the Spring Catalogue pack that stopped me using it.

Not because it’s not lovely or that I don’t like it. I do. I love it! But I couldn’t quite find the right project for it. But I was creating a paper share last week and had one ‘share’ left over, so I decided to have a play.

These 12 cards all come from just 6 of the 6×6″ pieces of cardstock that make up a share.

Yes, they’re a funny sized card, 3 x 6″ (7.5 x 15cm) when folded. but they’re a cute size aren’t they?

I used both sides of all 6 sheets to show off the patterns, and because one side is foiled with silver, while the other has a colour on it, I wanted to keep them together.

So I hope you enjoy my showcase, and if you look carefully, you’ll spot a couple of new decorative items joining us soon.

Thank you, Sam, for showing how to use this DSP. I was struggling. I think it helped to have a bright color highlight to accent the silver.
