Stampin' Up! Demonstrator Pootles - Clever But Simple Bag in a Box Tutorial

Oh I had so much fun making this bag in a box. I wasn’t making this project at all. I was making something totally different, but I didn’t factor the middle row of scoring measurements properly and when I folded it up this happened!

Ha! Love it!!!

Okay, yes it’s possibly a waste of paper across the middle, but I love that it’s ‘toughened’ on the sides with what amounts to 3 layers of paper. And heck, sometimes we need to use paper up in it’s fullest possible way.

It’s not as complicated as it looks, and if you show the paper who’s boss when you’re adhering the sides, you’ll have no problem. I was just worried I’d snail myself to the desk and ended up making it look a bit fumbly. But we all do that. Right??

Anyway, have a fantastic week, and for those in the UK enjoying a Bank Holiday, I hope you’re having some crafty fun!

    Love this idea Sam. Thanks
And now I feel I am being picky – but I know I will fall into the trap when I come to try making it. I think one of the scoring measuring you list above is wrong.
    Score on the SECOND side at 1, 5, 7, 10″ (5, 12.5, 17.5, 25cm)
Based on what you said and did, and the metric measurement – I think the first one needs to be 2 rather than 1.
I hope you are OK about me making this comment. I wouldn’t like to offend you – I just love your work and your style.

  3. Very nice…I’d love to try it!
