Stampin' Up! Demonstrator Pootles - Treat Friday Fold Flat Goodie Bag

I do love Treat Friday in our house! For those who are perhaps newer to my blog, our family has had a long set tradition of treats or sweets on a Friday. It doesn’t mean I don’t give the children a little sneaky treat other days of the week, but they don’t ask at other times because they know that Friday is the day for treats! Sometimes it’s a magazine, sometimes its dinner out at McDonalds. Sometimes it’s a small bag of sweets. It varies from week to week and I love it because I get a treat too!!!

And today I have a treat for you! A super cute fold flat goodie bag for mini sweetie treats! There are 2 little daim bars inside these and they’re so quick to make.

You could vary the sizes of these quite easily so long as the measurements on the left and right of the short side are each approximately 1/4 of the total width of that side. Sounds complicated, but makes sense. For example, my paper is 4″ wide, and each of the score lines is 1″ wide. 1/4 of the width….

Anyway, enjoy the video and have a great Friday, perhaps you’re treating yourself too!

Paper – 6 x 4″ (15 x 10cm)

Score on the LONG side at 2.5, 3.5″ (6, 9cm)

Score on the SHORT side at 1, 3″ (3, 7cm)

Thanks! I needed a little bag just this size for a small bottle of lavender and chamomile essential oil in a baby gift. I’m off to make it right now. Have a good weekend!

Update! Had to make it wider by 1/2″, but it works.

Love 6×4 projects – there’s enough left over from a 6×6 for a belly-band or a tag and some small punch art – yay! Perfect size for School Craft Fairs and fundraisers. Thanks Sam. xx
