Stampin' Up! Demonstrator Pootles - Beautiful Box using Garden In Bloom

Oooo don’t you just love creating your own patterned paper?  I do. Although with so many beautiful packs of paper in our catalogue, it’s not something I do hugely often. However I was brutal when the retiring list came out and took everything off my shelves. As some of you know, all my opened packs of papers, ribbons, embellishments etc were donated to my youngest sons’ school, so that meant I immediately limited myself. But I do love a challenge and I stepped up!

donated stuffs.

Here’s the 2 enormous boxes of goodies the school got! I hope they have a lot of fun making and cutting and sticking!

Anyway, back to my project. Well, with the lack of papers to choose from, I decided to make my own using the stunning Garden in Bloom stamp set. I love it and love how effective it is when stamped like this.

And the sentiment. I make mention of it in the video, but that was inspired by one of my team, Jerim who is also known as Willow Piggy on YouTube. I happened to watch a project of hers recently and loved how she stamped white onto coloured cardstock and decided to try the same on this project. I think it works, but I wanted to reference her and the project that she created. It’s here if you want a look! Nothing else from the project is on mine, but that wording on hers was so eye-catching that I knew I wanted to use it somewhere!

So please do enjoy the project today, and I hope you maybe make your own patterned paper one day!

Such a lovely project. Love how you create the designer paper. With this technique you will always have a coordinating paper. Love, love, love. And so your video is a touch longer than you normally do, no big deal, nope, not an issue. Give Fennel a love, she is gorgeous.
