Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator Pootles – Watercolouring with First Sight and Forever Friends

Pootles Stampin' Up! Grab Bag GiveawayPootles Stampin' Up! Grab Bag Giveaway Random Selection (1)LAST DAY TODAY! So this week, from May 21st to May 29th while I’m away, I am doing a Grab-Bag Giveaway! I have a whole load of unopened embellishments, ribbons, trims and more. This is just a small selection taken from the much bigger box also pictured! How do you get one though? Well ALL orders over £20/25€ will qualify for a grab bag goodie. At the point in time of flying these are already bagged up, I’ve no idea what’s inside each bag, so I will grab one at random, pop your address on the outside and post it off to you! You could place 1 order and get 1, or place 5 and get 5 bags through the mail! This is only open to UK, Germany, France, Austria and The Netherlands. It is also provided by me and will be posted by me in the first week of June.

So today I am flying home from my week long Incentive Trip with Stampin’ Up! I am writing this post ahead of time, but I’m fairly certain that I’ll have caught up with old friends and made new ones too.

The thing about an Incentive Trip is that you have heightened anticipation of what may happen, but no real concept of how it may turn out. Other than fabulous of course!

Many many years ago, when I first ventured into Direct Sales with a cosmetics company, it never occurred to me that I may be one of the high achievers. That particular company didn’t offer trips away, it offered a car programme. One I wasn’t keen to participate in, we had a car that we loved! But after a 10 year break from party plan, I came back to Stampin’ Up! and was thrilled to earn the first trip I possibly could. And the following trips after.

I don’t say this to rub it in someone’s face, but to really point out that I’m just an ordinary girl in a village in Wales enjoying what I do. I am really nothing special or amazing. I don’t have a secret to what I do. Heck, it’s all online, so you can all see what I do! And while the 29 year old me didn’t have the self belief to be an achiever, this older version does. I do believe I can achieve these fantastic trips. I have done it with 2 companies at the same time, 2 years on the trot! And I believe that anyone can if they want to.

I’m not going to lie and say it’s easy to do, that would be wrong, but I’m a firm believer in if you want to achieve something, set your mind to it, set some goals in place and set some baby step plans in place too. Wishing it to happen won’t make it happen, but working for it will.

So I leave you with my hand watercoloured card today, with the heat embossed Forever Friends on it. I believe that I will have made some Forever Friends on this trip, and I know that someone out there, (maybe a few someones!) is looking to join my team and is going to be the next person holidaying with me. You just have to believe you can do it, and know that I will believe in you too.

    Hi Sam,
I am a new demonstrator in a little village in Yorkshire and your post really encouraged me today. My business will go on-line next week. It is so good to celebrate your achievements with you in this small way. I look forward to hearing how much you enjoyed the trip and seeing your new projects! Love the card too!

    Nice job Sam!!

  7. Thanks for the little bio. Unfortunately, I live in a small town in Central Massachusetts, that has three Stampin’ Up reps. We all use the same venues for teaching classes and all show up at the same local bazaars, flea markets and more. Add that to my “senior citizen” tag, it’s not easy getting dedicated customers in this area. Tips welcomed

  8. It´s very beautifull, I love all that you do with stampin up products. I live in Spain and we are so much people that like Su, but from the moment here in Spain Stampin up doesn´t exist, :–(. I hope some day comes to Spain, I´ll be so happy. Excuse me for my english it´s so bad, ups!!

  9. Bookmarked your wonderful website. Wonderful work, unique way
    with words!
