Pootles’ Way Back Wednesday Pen Pot Holder

Pootles' Way Back Wednesday Pen Pot Holder

It’s the last of my 4 Holders that I designed 3 years ago, but have brought out again for you this month. I made this design specifically to hold our old thin embossing folders, but Stampin’ Up! doesn’t carry them anymore. But no problem, instant pen pot! Yay, we love a project that has multiple uses!!!!

So exactly the same as the other 3, this builds up in the same way, but I’ve adjusted the measurements to suit the finished needs and you know what? I reckon there are endless variations of these!

Pootles' Way Back Wednesday Pen Pot Holder Side Profile

Oh and I need to explain the difference in height on the side profile photo. The blue version has been made with 11-3/4″ (29.7cm) cardstock, whereas the pink has been made with 11″ (28cm). Just showin’ ya the differences between International A4 and 8-1/2 x 11″ cardstock!

S xx

Cardstock – 11 x 5.5″ (14 x 28cm)

Score on the LONG side at 4, 5.5″ (10, 14cm)

Score on the SHORT side at 1.5, 4″ (4, 10cm)

DSP – 2.25 x 3.75″ (5.5 x 9.5cm)

    Hi Sam
How are you and your family? This is one of your projects I make several at a time and give as gifts and /or craft fairs. People love them. In fact I was making 6 presently for the upcoming US Independence Day July 4. I prefer this holder because I can make for males, boys as well as females and it is small. I also make your larger holders. Plus I saw a video where a demonstrator place in a tray which was for larger holder. I made smaller tray where I placed 2 in tray I made from cardstock and/or heavier cardstock.
The 6 I am making now, 3 will be for adult females and 3 adult males. Thanks again.
    Thanks again
