Pootlers Design Team – Every Occasion
It’s a brand new month, so that means a brand new team! I’m delighted to be welcoming 4 demonstrators into the design team and I shall let them introduce themselves to you. Click on their names to hop over to their blogs and click on the photo to go to their projects. As you know, I only share one of theirs, as I’d love for you to see what the rest of the project looks like on their blogs.
Kay Warren “I have always been a crafter! My earliest memories are making clothes for my Sindy and Tressy dolls! That love of sewing is atill with me and when my children were younger and in dance shows you could find me being strangled as I made yards of netting into tutus!
I always turned my hand to most crafts but only started card making after I got my hands on some of my mothers stash when she was in hospital after having a heart transplant twenty years ago. I think my Dad was hoping to get her to downsize but that never did happen!
Over the years I have tried various types of card making, but now seem to have found my niche and have managed to use up the majority of all the other trials that I have had over the years.
In consideration of my husband and one son who still remains at home I try to keep away from glitter as they were finding it embarrassing going to work covered in it!
I do a few craft shows during the year but the majority of my cards are either taken by my daughter or sold at the oap groups that I help out at to boost their funds.
I am looking forward to taking up the challenge of Sams’ and I hope that you will all enjoy what I have created.“
Kathleen Rintoul-Waite “Hi, I am Kathleen, married to Stuart and we have 2 young girls. We live just outside Edinburgh, in beautiful Scotland. I have been crafting for forever, so when I came across Stampin Up!, it made sense to give it a go!
I just love all of the co-ordination. Lilypop is my crafty name. It came about a few years ago, when I started selling items and had to come up with something. It is a combination of both my girls middle names, so it means so much to me, and they can be part of my little crafting world too!
Suzanne Hullah “I’m Suzanne, 30, originally from Leeds. I’m mum to three monkeys; Mia, Thomas & Ben who all keep me on their toes. My kids are the sole reason I picked up crafting as a hobby as I always struggled to find suitable invitations for birthdays / christenings etc so I decided to start making my own.
My business name is Hullahbaloo (see what I did there?) and I’ve been a demo for just over two years now. I’m addicted to SU! and have had to get a bigger house for my habit! (I kid!).
Outside of crafting, I’m a network engineer and qualified website designer – nerd by day, crafter by night.”
Helen Griffin “Hi, I’m Helen – Wife, Mother and Crafter. I have been a Scrapbooker for over 10 years and seemed to have crossed over to cards, box/bags and mini album making. I can thank Stampin’ Up! for these turn of events and YouTube for my slight obsession with creating mini albums.
I created my website to share my crafting journey and to teach other crafters how I make my projects. I am just starting out on my YouTube journey (filming tutorials) – I have gained a vast amount of knowledge, ideas and techniques from this community and feel I need to share some of the love back. The world would be a boring place without fresh ideas and new contributions.
When I’m not papercrafting, you can usually find me sewing new clothes or crocheting a huge blanket (thank you YouTube for teaching me!).
I’m really looking forward to be taking part in this month’s design team – I’ve had a great time making my projects and hope you will enjoy them too.
Helen x “
And of course, their gorgeous projects using the fabulous Every Occasion stamp set.
