Thank You Cards using Blooms & Wishes

Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator Pootles – Thank You Cards using Blooms & Wishes

Stampin' Up! Demonstrator Pootles - Thank You Cards using Blooms & Wishes Single

Oh I really do have the best job in the world don’t I?!

I had a great evening creating my own patterned paper and I knew that I wanted to cut them all down into pieces big enough to go on all 168 cards that I created!

I used 14 sheets of whisper white, and 7 pairs of colours.

My pairs are Emerald Envy and Mint Macaron, Cucumber Crush and Garden Green, Marina Mist and Dapper Denim, Flirty Flamingo and Melon Mambo, Sweet Sugarplum and Rose Red, So Saffron and Crushed Curry, Peekaboo Peach and Tangerine Tango.

I worked in pairs because I wanted to get 4 colours onto each piece of cardstock, so all of them were stamped off!

What do you think??

I’m so happy with them, and I worked on our Notecards and Envelopes for speed’s sake as much as anything!

All the cards are backed with Early Espresso cardstock, and that cute Bow Paperclip just seems to finish them off perfectly!

I hope everyone has liked them, and maybe you’ll create some patterns of your own too!

  2. Ooh, this is just darling, Sam!
Will you please consider making a video for this project? I’m curious whether you stamped first before cutting or did you cut first, then stamp?

Would it be possible to show a full page of cardstock once it’s been stamped but before you cut it into pieces? I’m not quite sure what you mean when you said-

I worked in pairs because I wanted to get 4 colours onto each piece of cardstock, so all of them were stamped off!

Does this mean you stamped some of the images on the cs full strength and then used the stamped off image also so you’d have two colors, but in two different strengths for each? Does that make sense?
