Bonus Days!

Stampin' Up! Demonstrator Pootles - Elegant Curly Wurly Treats using Stampin' Up! Fruit Stand Paper All Colours

There are some days when all you need to do to make someone happy is give them a curly wurly. If you have precisely no idea what a curly wurly is, take a look. Please try not to drool on your desk…. They really are as amazing as they look. *runs to secret stash and waves goodbye to diet*

curly wurly

I’ve pinched this photo from the English Tea Store as it was the best image I could find that shared the gooey yumminess of them. It appears that they’re in the USA!

Anyway, I digress. We fortunate Brits can buy them in packs of 5 for £1 from shops, so I decided I’d pretty up a whole pack of 5! Aren’t they cute?

I love the plainer patterns from the Fruit Stand paper pack, and the soft pink of this paper with the varying different ribbons and punch out flowers is enough.

you’d never know it was a 20p chocolate bar in there would you?

So today, you’re getting a gooey treat from me, and apologies if anyone else’s diet went out the window too….

This is a smarty good idea! An eeasy wizzy project but could never thought of it.
Thank you Sam, as always you’re a sweetie.

  2. Wonderful treat, done in Christmassy paper they would make a lovelyl table favour on Christmas day !!Yah
Hope these become next months little gift – yummy

    Well done Mrs Pootles

  3. Well I know what a Curly Wurly is Sam but what I need you to explain to me is what a diet is! Lovely treat wrap idea, very ‘sweet’ indeed. Take good care.

  4. I live in Canada and we only recently discovered an ‘imported foods’ aisle in Walmart. We were checking out all the different items and came across Curly Wurly’s. They are sold as a single bar or as a package of 3 or 4. The first time we bought just one to try it but since then, they’ve become a favorite. We now buy them often and always in the multiple pack! They’re very good!

  5. Oh I wish I could find these Curly Wurly’s in the Buffalo, NY area, but then again it’s probably a good idea not to find them. They do look really tasty. Adorable project and would be easy to adapt to another size too. Thanks!

    • I will be putting this dazinzlg insight to good use in no time.

    • I’m 19 and a virgin. I’m not really religious. I’m not going to say that premarital sex is wrong for others, but I’m going to wait. I’m in college and surrounded by people who drink, have sex, smoke weed, and party. Some of my friends have had sex, but none of this phases me. Id rather my husband be my first. It’s okay to be a virgin, it’s okay to have sex. Be you and do what you want. Don’t worry about other people.

  6. OH HOLY CRAP! Must run down to my local British Tea Shoppe and find these…they look just like something called a Marathon bar, a candy bar that was my childhood favorite but that I have not seen in DECADES. Congratulations, you’re just as bad a chocolate enabler as you are a stamp enabler 😉
