Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator Pootles – Penned & Painted with Blooms & Wishes
Oooo pretty pretty with the pink and the brown! Not a colour combination I’d usually go for, but I love it!
Penned and Painted is such a darling stamp set to work with and it’s a 3 step. You can either stamp the outline first and then add the centers or the other way around. I went for the outline first in Chocolate Chip then used Melon Mambo for the main colour (although I stamped off first to get the paler colour on the smaller flowers) and then again with the Melon Mambo over the top.
And that ladybird, oooo, I love them! I left 2 plain white on the main card but I decided to use my Stampin’ Write Marker on the one on the sentiment.
Oh and for that, I used Blooms & Wishes. The font just made sense with the sketchy flowers.
I’m very pleased with the look of this card and quite fancy having a go at a blue or purple version.
