Pootles Advent Countdown 2016 Rock Candy Treat Boxes

Oh these are too cute! It’s ‘Treat Friday’ in our house today and as many of you know, I like to give my 4 boys a little treat each. However, poor old Jack, the 13 year old, has been sick with the Norovirus all week, so I don’t know that he’ll be enjoying an edible sweetie.

But I wanted my project today to be one of those easily made and inexpensively giftable types of projects. One that you could gift to teachers (or pupils if you’re a teacher), those little extra ones that we all suddenly realise we need!

Pootles Advent Countdown 2016 Rock Candy Treat Boxes Cookie Cutter Punches

I love these treat boxes and they make these kinds of projects look brilliant straight away, particularly when you get hold of darling sweeties like the rock candy I’ve got here.

So have a wonderful day everyone, we have another viewing on the house today. Send your prayers, we want to be all together again in one house, not 200 miles apart!

But Sam, there is again a problem with the email … since yesterday I do not receive your mails anymore :-(( It’s like the days before: I look over my mails, don’t find yours and … go to your webside! A little bit more work but the main point is: your are still there :-)) . I really would be very sad not to read your letters every day .. You know, I’m so used to your beautiful ideas ;.))
Wish you and your boys a happy weekend

  7. Where do you get the taffy? I have looked everywhere online and can’t find them. Thank you for sharing all your projects. I love your ideas!

  8. OMG Sam these are ADORABLE!!! I would love to make these up for my Holiday card class attendees so I was hoping you could give us the name of the candy company who makes the “sweeties” I looked for ages on Amazon and did not find them, I’m thinking maybe its just something in the UK and not available in the USA. Thank you for another great video & for sharing your creativity with all of us. God Bless

Hi Sam…I’m a Stampin’ Up! demonstrator from Saskatoon, SK, Canada – and read your blog regularly. I love the ideas that you have. This is a great idea for the clear 2″ x 2″ boxes. Wasn’t sure what to do with them – now I know!!Thanks for sharing!. One question – the candy that you put into the boxes, you said you got from Amazon. What was the name of the candy when you ordered it – or the name of the company? It suits those boxes and stamps perfectly – but I can’t find the candy!
Thanks again for sharing all your ideas. Good luck with the house! Take care and have a great weekend!!

I love this but also have not been able to find the candies anywhere online. Please share where you purchased them. Thank you.
