Stampin' Up! Demonstrator Pootles - Wisteria Wonder Watercoloured Star of Light

Oh I do love a spot of watercolouring! Now that I’m not terrified of it…. Yes, I used to be frightened in case I ‘got it wrong’ but then I decided to take a leaf out of my own book and just have fun. And that’s what crafting is all about as far as I’m concerned, having fun.

And I certainly had fun making this one!

I stamped and heat embossed that stunning swirl from Star Of Light straight onto a panel of our Shimmery White cardstock, backed it with Wisteria Wonder as a tester and decided that I liked the colour pairing. That of course could be switched out to pretty much any of our coloured cardstock, but I’m not sure that all of them would watercolour as well. I think it needs the paler Subtles colours for that.

As you all know, I prefer to use a single stamp set on a project and keep my supplies to a minimum, so the sentiment also comes from the same set, and I love it. As a Christian, I like to remember Jesus at Christmas and a simple card like this is enough to remember for me.

Have a great weekend everyone,

S xx
