Wrapped in Stampin’ Up’s Warmth & Cheer

Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator Pootles – Wrapped in Stampin’ Up’s Warmth & Cheer

Stampin' Up! Demonstrator Pootles - Wrapped in Stampin' Up's Warmth & Cheer Stamp Detail

I have been in love with the Warmth & Cheer Designer Series Paper since I first saw it in the catalogue. I love the patterns, the feel and the whole cozy look to it. But the colour I’ve really struggled to use is the Delightful Dijon yellow in it. I’m not a huge yellow fan and it’s not a colour I would reach for as a first call, but I wanted to get full use out of my paper pack.

Then it struck me, a bit like a light bulb switching on. What a great manly card it could make.

I don’t make huge numbers of cards for men at Christmas time – my Father gets a card to him and Mum as a pair, and the same with one of my brothers. But I do have another brother and a husband, plus a couple of nephews who would appreciate a non-sparkly-twinkly Christmas Card I’m sure….

So with the male members of my family in mind, I’ve gone with a warm and festive but-not-too-girly card for them.

    Great idea Sam.

Very nice! Yellow is not my thing either but I like this. I have a problem with “random” so the neatness of this really appeals too!

  3. Looks great for the Guys, even without the Christmas sentiment. Birthday’s or Anniversaries even!

  4. I like yellow but it is hard to see it as the base for anything…but you did it!
