Pootles Advent Countdown 2016 #13 Customer Thank You Christmas Cards

Well this is unusual! Me showing a card on video!!! But when I came to set out my video schedule, I realised that where I had planned to put this month’s thank you gift as an Advent Countdown project, I couldn’t. It’s not a Christmas one!!! But you’ll see more of that on Wednesday…..

So in view of the realisation that I needed a festive project for today, I decided to include the card that I sent out as part of my customer thank you pack! And it’s so cute!

The little caddy box that I pop into view on the video came wandering around with me everywhere. It’s a storage solution in the main because I craft and make the thank you packs across the whole month, but it’s also fantastic for taking from my office to the lounge for crafting in front of a movie, or to the kitchen while I’m waiting for dinner to cook. And on one occasion, it came with me when I took little Oliver to a 2 hour birthday party at a playbarn one afternoon!

I love how these cards turned out though. There’s the layer of the gorgeous Presents and Pinecones paper, the stamping detail from the Holly Berry Happiness as the sentiment, which is used again for those gorgeous holly berries, and that lovely little twinkle of Wink of Stella.

Simple and easy but I hope, quite stylish!

Have a wonderful day everyone!

  5. I am confused by the listed measurements.
    Stamping Panels – 7 x 3.5cm (2-3/4 x 1-3/8″) …which is the dark colored cardstock on the lower right
White panels – 6.5 x 3cm (2-5/8 x 1-1/2″) …which is the white cardstock that is stamped with the greeting on the lower right.
In the video, you stated that the white panels are 1/2 cm smaller on both sides. Which would be correct as listed here……7 and 6.5 cm (2 3/4″ and 2 5/8″). The 3.5 cm and 3 cm seem to be correct but the 1 3/8″and 1 1/2″ don’t. The dark colored cardstock is listed as 1 3/8 while the white cardstock is listed as 1 1/2. Which would make the white cardstock size bigger on one side than the dark colored cardstock not leaving it with a border. Maybe they should be reversed? Or am I misreading all of this? If I am , please say so..I won’t be offended! I very much want to make this card…I absolutely love it! Thanks!

I was wondering the same thing about the measurements. I was cutting them last night and they just don’t match.

where did you get the container you use to put your pieces in? I love the cards and it sure looks like it would be easier with all your pieces in one place. Thank you for sharing.
