Stampin' Write Many Marvelous Markers

Oooo Happy Wednesday!

I’m enjoying these ‘different’ types of video. I don’t plan to roll them out as a series, but more as and when I a)think of it and b) see a need. And so many people have asked me about the Stampin’ Write Markers recently, that I thought it would be a great opportunity to show them off.

So less of a ‘project’ as such, but more an opportunity to show you different things you can do with our markers.

Firstly, they are filled with the same ink as the ink pads, so if they run out, you just top them up again. Super easy, you just take one of the nibs out and put a few drops of ink in. But this is one of the greatest things about our markers. That they’re the same ink. So you can build up a collection of colours quickly and then determine which are your favourites and then buy the full size inkpad duplicates.

Then there’s the stamping possibilities. I love the multicoloured look on a stamped image, and before I got my hot little hands on the markers, you could really only do 2, and that’s if you were careful and inked up one half of an image and then the other. But you’d always mess up and either leave one ink colour in the other ink pad or miss out a section!

But there are lots of different things you can use the markers from – depending on your handwriting, you can write your own words and script. The darling dot and line technique is on of my favourites and this makes it so easy!

So I hope you find this video useful and that perhaps you’ll check out our amazing Marker Selection!

  1. I love the markers too. I don’t have the whole lot, but I still have many of them! Cute bath salts containers too!

  2. Love this test tube bath salt containers, the colors are so bright and you matched them beautifully with the SU markers. I have the complete set of markers for a few years now and I use them all the time for my water coloring, they are fabulous and they last forever.
    Thanks for the tips, Sam.

Love the Stampin’ Up markers. I have been using them for years, same as you did for outlining, writing, stamping. I don’t have every color but I do have quite a few. I think my mistake when I starting ordering (years ago) was I would only get the colors I really liked or wanted, I never bought them by sets. 🙂 Love the test tube idea.

  4. Great idea for the bath salts. Never heard of Pettigrain before. Learn something new all the time. Thanks for sharing with us.
