Pootles Advent Countdown 2016 #16 Presents & Pinecones Large Lidded Box
How pretty are these boxes?
I love a prettily wrapped parcel under the tree and these are perfect for me. The boys will love to see their boxes and parcels on Christmas morning (I keep them hidden until then – too many wandering fingers and prying eyes) and I love that I can make them in a bespoke size.
For these ones though I wanted to get as big a box as possible from one sheet of cardstock and some paper, and this is what I finished up with – 7 x 4 x 2″ (18 x 10 x 5cm), pretty big I think!
What kind of thing would you put inside? Smellies perhaps. Or what about a lovely scarf? It’s the perfect season for me with scarves right now so they’ve all come out – silky and chiffony. And I love to get one for christmas and Mum pretty much always gets me a new one!
Have a fantastic weekend everyone, it’s getting quite cold here now, so it’s heater on in the car while the children warm themselves on the skatepark again…!
Cardstock – 8 x 11″ (28 x 20cm) Score on ALL sides at 2″ (5cm)
Paper – 6 x 9″ (23 x 15cm) Score on ALL sides at 1″ (2.5cm)
Labels 2.25 x 2.75″ (5.5 x 7cm) AND 2 x 2.5″ (5 x 6.5cm)
