Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator Pootles – Team Card – a Collective….
Don’t forget my 19 Days Giftaway – HERE
I am surrounded by the best team ever. I love working with them, I love how creative they are. I love how they are wonderfully inspiring for one another. I love the team spirit and cameraderie. I love that they will pick one another up if someone is feeling down, but will also be there with the cheers and whoops when someone has something to celebrate.
We don’t get together in person all that often, maybe 4-5 times a year, but we have a lot of fun the rest of the time in a virtual capacity!
Once a week I do a Live Broadcast into my team’s facebook group and we have a lot of fun. I share tips and training ideas, sometimes set a challenge, and always give them a chance to ‘toot their own trumpet’ if they’ve had an achievement that week. It could be as big as a sales milestone but it’s an anything goes time. So if someone has a new customer, they Toot Toot, or when someone does their first video tutorial or books their first venue. Anything and everything, and we cheer along!
And a week or so ago I held a Team Awards night on facebook. From 6 until 9pm we had 4 Live Broadcasts, a whole bunch of recognition, some fun games and challenges and a virtual card swap. One of the recognitions had me in tears when I announced our ‘Super Supporter’ team member. Her support of everyone is wonderful and even before I said her name, people were typing it. They knew who I was talking about!
During one of the Live Broadcasts though I bravely said I’d make a card under their instruction. I had nothing but my trimmer on the desk and left them to tell me what to do. Now with facebook Live, I can’t hear them, but I have got a bunch of super fast typists because they were all rattling off instructions at a rapid rate of knots!
I had the new upcoming Falling in Love DSP to hand, so that was first up, then someone started typing Basic Grey while about 4 people were typing Real Red!! But I’d already cut into the grey by this point and then out came the requests for “banners” and “use some Sugar Plum stuff” and then butterflies and all sorts.
My naughty team though started to play… there were requests for the big shot, then heat embossing. Someone else kept typing fireworks over and again!
I’d cottoned onto what they were upto, so I said no big shot and not heat guns!!!
But in 20 minutes we had the funniest time! If I could work out how to share the video on here, you’d be crying with laughter too. Especially when we ended up playing silly whatsits when they were telling me to position the pearls ‘left, no right, no up, up a bit more, no the bottom’ and it descended into chaos….
The end result is pretty good though! From 473 comments, we made something pretty!
I have got another Live Cardmaking session planned for one day over on my business page… that should be funny too!!!
So, in timely manner, I kinda ought to put it out there that I’m always happy to welcome new members to my team. My team grows every month, with new people joining all the time. I love that I get to offer a wonderful opportunity to people, whether it’s for a business or to get a wonderful bundle of products at a discount with the starter kit. Ooooo, and with Pre Order coming next week on the new Spring Catalogue, now is definitely a very good time to join so you can get the Early Bird Perks too!
